Not Four but Two 23.08.20

Now they have reached adulthood

It’s time to head out on our own.

Let’s be the couple we once were, on occasion.

We can revert back to our twenties.

Carefree with no strings attached, an empty calendar and some cash in the bank.

Do you remember how to be a duo?

The lie ins, the shopping, the bars, strolls in the park and Sunday mornings at the gallery.

I couldn’t live like that full time now.

I’m afraid that I would miss them.
